The following special prizes have been added for iWeekend Pune winners:
1. Springboard Ventures will provide detailed business plan making support – including market study, detailed financial projections, go-to-market strategy and potential Investors’ presentation to one winning entry at iWeekend Pune. The cost value of this incentive is INR 2 Lakhs and will be provided completely free to the winner.
2. Grow VC India is going to be re-launched with a new version of their crowd-funding platform. As part of the launch campaign , promising start-ups and idea-stage ventures from across India will be given an opportunity to pitch to investors across the nation through a live webinar. One finalist from iWeekend Pune will be directly shortlisted as one of the idea-stage ventures.
3. DeskAway will give a free 1-year subscription of its project collaboration software to the winning ideas at iWeekend Pune.
Sahil Parikh, Founder of DeskAway was a mentor at iWeekend Mumbai and his presentation on “10 insights on starting a web product company” was loved by everyone! While he won’t be able to join us at iWeekend Pune, he readily offered a free 1-year subscription to the winners. When I asked him, to how many winners would you like to offer this as we don’t rank the winner and consider all final short-listed ideas as winners, he replied “all winners”. Thanks Sahil!
Satish Kataria, Managing Director of Springboard Ventures and Grow VC India was a mentor too at iWeekend Mumbai. He and his partner were present at iWeekend Mumbai for the entire 2.5 days and provided excellent insights to the participants. We had received special mentions from the participants thanking Satish for his excellent mentorship. He could not join us personal at iWeekend Pune but that doesn’t stop him from showering his start-up love for iWeekend and we really thank him for the special prize from Springboard Ventures and Grow VC India.
