About iWeekend

iWeekend is a non-profit organization with the mission of promoting the culture of entrepreneurship in new technologies.

iWeekend is ideal for entrepreneurs looking to get started and for professionals and freelancers looking to broaden their horizons while taking on a challenge and collaborating in a project they like.

The event was founded in Barcelona in November 2007 by Luv Sayal. Being new in the internet sector, he was looking to gain some first hand experience of how to develop and launch a product, and how the different parts of a startup come together to make a meaningful whole. The first team of organizers comprised of : David Rodriguez, Raul Andres, Ollivier Jacq, Bermi Ferrer and Luv Sayal.

Today, iWeekend has been organized in different cities all over Spain, Mexico, Russia, India and China by passionate entrepreneurs looking to bring this exciting experience to their communities.
